also if you unlocked characters and they suddenly appear locked, try resetting your character. usually if they appear locked it's a visual bug, you likely did not lose your data.

Earn cash through quests or alerts, or be a villain and rob or destroy places to gain rewards in such evil ways. Cash can be used to buy non-speedster characters.

Quests are available for both heroes and villains.
